Hey guys! Happy March! I absolutely cannot wait for summer… sun, swimming, my 13th birthday (wow, already?!), and best of all, no school! And Dan and Phil marathons, and staying up past 12AM listening to music. Only a few more months!
All things aside, yes, this is going to be a new thing on Weighed Down With Words! Every Friday (or most Fridays, considering how busy I can be), I’ll post a “Fabulous Friday”. It’s kinda just updates on what’s happening behind the blog, in my very real, everyday life.
Ready or not, here we go!
I’m rereading The School for Good and Evil by Soman Chainani. I got the series for Christmas from my aunt and uncle, and I’ve been waiting for a chance to reread them ever since! Plus, I need to read a fantasy book for English, so I figured I’d seize the opportunity. Also, I’m going to a writing workshop thing in May, and I’m going to meet the author and get my book signed (AAAAAHHHH!!!!!), so I definitely needed to reread the books at some point.
But seriously, if you haven’t read the series, you’re missing out! It’s so full of twists and turns that there is next to no way to guess the ending of the series. The writing style itself is also amazing! Not to mention how much I relate to Agatha. *sigh*
Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys by My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy in general. My favorite songs off the MCR album are definitely Look Alive, Sunshine/Na Na Na and Bulletproof Heart. And I’d have to say my favorite FOB songs are Dance, Dance (where my blog name came from!), I’m Like a Lawyer…, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, I Don’t Care, and The Phoenix, even though there’s at least 5 more I could list.
Lots and lots and LOTS of chocolate almonds! Man, I didn’t realize how delicious these things were! I took a picture of the exact package so that you can go and buy yourself a lifetime supply like I did.
A bit of Just Dance, especially Just Dance 4. I have them all, but I’ve had this one the longest, and I still haven’t beaten all the Dance Quests, so I’ve been dancing my butt off to complete all the Dance Quests, get 5 stars on every song, and unlock everything besides DLC. I’ve gotten pretty far, but I’ve still got a ways to go.
Well, I don’t really watch the TV shows my sister likes, nor do I have my own TV or Netflix, so I mostly watch YouTube. And right now, that happens to be Dan and Phil, and I’m currently bingeing DanAndPhilGAMES. I really love Dil in the Sims 4 series, and watching them break down over the skips in The Impossible Quiz series, and just everything about Bishi Bashi. Plus, have you seen them play Just Dance?! Anyway, I’m trying to watch all the videos on that channel.
Loads of awesome stories! I’m going to publish some of them on here sometime. What I’m working on specifically is a sequel to a previous story I wrote called “The Introvert’s Guide to Change”. This sequel is about a girl trying to adjust to a new life and find her place. Kinda cliche, I know, but I’m testing my skills before branching out a little. I’m also working on editing the aforementioned short story. That journal is where they’re all stored!
We started Weighed Down With Words! I’m super excited to see where the blog will go with time, and how greatly my interests will change throughout the adventure.
That’s the posting schedule for March! I’ve got a lot planned, don’t I?
All jokes aside, I’ve got some fun stuff planned, including an old story, some book reviews, and even an MCR post for the 22nd. *sobs*
Anyway, that’s what’s going on in my life! I’m super excited for the rest of March; the beginning of spring, Daylight Savings Time, St. Patrick’s Day, and even my mom’s birthday. I’ll be keeping busy, but I’m not even mad!
Thanks for stopping by!
